The exclusive amenities really fulfilled our needs, especially the indoor swimming pool, sauna, outdoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi, and beach access. the massage services were sublime, and the garden area was luxurious. the room advantages were exclusive, and the restaurant served delicious continental breakfast. We loved the bar/ lounge area, and the free buffet breakfast was amazing.
the service was great, but at times the outdoor swimming pool seemed overcrowded.

Expected good quality and that was what we got, extras like bath robes slippers water and chocolates on arrival also raki and mini baklavas on our last day, bathroom scales to check on the indulgence of fabulous greek food and drink. Breakfast buffet excellant choice all you could want.spotlessly clean room with bath/shower and seperate shower towels changed every day also beach towels supplied.friendly staff. Good location near the beach with hotel sunbeds down quiet road but only around the corner for local bars tavernas and taxis into rethymnon.
Indoor swimming pool water no warmer than outside pool so as it was only may too cold to swim unless very brave.

The desing of the room was very modern and the breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent. The swimming pool and the sunbeds inside the pool were realy rellaxing
I would expect that the reception staff and waitresses to be at the same level of quality as the hotel standards...

Cleanliness is really good, location and swimingpool are great.
There was activities, communications and also a lot of TV channels only in Russian and Germany. Very few in English. They should keep it more international if they want to keep as 5 stars hotel.

We had an amazing romantic escape at this hotel. the pool was better in person, it was sparkling clean and was surrounded by beautiful flowers. the beach was only a short walk away and offered free sun beds for hotel guests. We also enjoyed the little treats left for us in the room and the great selection of food offered at breakfast.
The Wi-Fi was slow and spotty at times, which made it difficult to stay connected. the walk to the shops and restaurants was a bit dark and not well-lit at night, and could be slightly intimidating for those who are not familiar with the area.

The rooms are very modern and spacious, the hotel is very new and well taken care off, according to Greek standards very very nice. Facilities are very good. Free sunbeds and pool area seems to be only used by guests of the minos mare royal, peace and quiet at the pool if wanted or more people at the beach. Personnel was very friendly. First night of my reservation I was given a room in the older part of the hotel, but I received very good compensation for that. Would book the same hotel immediately again, this is truly 5 stars. I booked another 5 star hotel in the same area last time, but the standard of this hotel is much better, although surroundings of the other hotel were better.
The rooms were rather noisy, talking in the hallway could be heard very much in the rooms. As a newly build hotel, the sound insulation should have been better. Wireless in the rooms would have been a big plus. Not possible to plug internet cable to an ipad, so had to use the area around the pool to be able to be online. Very friendly personnel but not always very good in their way of communicating.

Stayed here in may (see previous review) excellant room with added touches of luxury, drink on arrival also bottle of wine in room, baklavas and raki day before leaving, modern bathroom with seperate shower as well as over the bath, towels for pool as well as room etc.flat screen tv tea coffee etc.
On arrival told we had been 'upgraded' to a suite, really disappointing as older dismal room bedroom area smaller with sofa(spare bed)? Opposite swing glass bathroom door, window in bathroom above bath so when I was standing in bath having a shower person from upstairs leanig over balcony looking straight in. Air conditioning not working properly during the night , one heavy key to open the door (2 key cards for the newer room) even the bathroom scales were old. Only plus side was it was nearer the sea with a partial sea view. Asked to be moved to the type of room we had booked which we were able to do the next day with the helpful lady on reception giving us a choice of rooms.as we had stayed here before we knew what to expect so could change to a much more luxurious and modern room but for anyone booking this accomodation, which the staff insist is more expensive and better they could well be disappointed

Great holiday location! Good beaches and plenty of winter sun. Nice holiday menu with great roasts and traditional sides. Comfortable sleeping arrangements and good weather for this time of year.
The hotel was not as clean as it could have been, and the staff were not always helpful. The swimming pool was far too small for the size of the hotel, and the sun loungers were uncomfortable.

The description/ photos of the room/ price doesn't match the reality ... all inclusive low quality resort . our side sea view room overlooking the parking... The"upgraded" room was even worse...really rude reception staff

Special care from the staff. When I was sick they even made me a special suop to get better. This is small, private hotel where you can really relax.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The rooms were well furnished, clean, cozy, and comfortable. The hotel had a stunning sandy beach, although there were some stones at the water's edge. The staff cleaned our room twice a day, and we were greeted with a few goodwill gifts. the rooms and service met a five-star level. The hotel's location was quiet, right by the sea, and there were plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The breakfast offered a delicious variety of options, and we enjoyed making fresh orange juice using their hand juicer. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, and the hotel had lovely gardens and modern decor.
Nothing, it was perfect.
